BACC Connectors

Air Electro offers value-added assembly for BACC63 composite and stainless-steel connectors. BACC63CT/CU/DB/DC is a Boeing specification for D38999 Series III connectors and they are in accordance with the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III specification.

Composite connectors (BACC63CU/CT) can be up to 30% lighter than aluminum connectors and are ideal for applications where weight saving is critical, such as the newer more fuel-efficient Boeing aircraft. Composite shell offerings are square flange receptacles and plugs, with plating options of olive drab cadmium (J) and Nickel (M).

Stainless-steel connectors (BACC63DB/DC) are more rugged, heavier connectors that guarantee conductivity and EMI protection and are ideal for harsh and high-vibration environments. They can be exposed to peak temperatures of up to 200°C. The mechanical and environmental characteristics exceed the standard MIL-DTL-38999 K Class requirements. Stainless-steel shell offerings are square flange receptacles and plugs, with plating options nickel-plated, grounded (G) and ungrounded (-) and cadmium plated ungrounded (D) and cadmium plated grounded (C).
