EN3682 (MIL-DTL-8357) Connectors are the More Rugged Version of ARINC 600

Recognized by EN3682 and MIL—DTL—83527, Radiall’s MPX connectors are, most commonly, used in mil/aero applications to connect the equipment rack to the avionics system. This series is known as a more rugged version of the Arinc 600 and delivers high density and robustness to harsh environment type of applications. NSX Series offers numerous contact types for any application—signal, power, coax, twinax, triax, quadrax, and LuxCis Arinc 801).

  • Shells and backshells: Aluminum alloy (cadmium yellow chromate over nickel plating)
  • Contacts: Copper alloy (gold over nickel plating)
  • Inserts: Thermosetting resin / high grade thermoplastic / aluminum ( cadmium yellow chromate over nickel plating for aluminum material)
  • Retention clips: Copper alloy
  • Seals and o-ring: Fluorinated silicon rubber
  • Insert retention plates: Aluminum alloy (blue anodized plating)
  • Polarization key: Zinc alloy (cadmium olive drab plating)
